My name is Laurent and I am a Math and Coding teacher at one of the best schools in the south of France. I have many years of teaching experience from middle schools, high schools and universities. I also prepare students for one of the most difficult exams in France - "classes préparatoires aux grandes écoles".

During my professional career, I also worked as a computer engineer until I realized that my passion is teaching and motivating students to explore the area of mathematics and engineering.

One of the highlights of my career is the development of successful mental math software which won a competition!

I believe that every student can be successful and I am here to help!. Besides that, my hobby is skiing and spending time with my wife and two children.

Ce programme suit les programmes officiels de l’Education Nationale. Il est enseigné par des professeurs certifiés et agrégés de l’Education Nationale. Les méthodes actives, créatives, et accélérées d’Open Mind sont appliquées. Un examen est donné à la fin de chaque mois.

The program follows the official National Education programs. It is taught by certified teachers and members of the National Education. The active, creative, and accelerated methods of Open Mind are applied.

Programme Janvier - Mars 2021

Révisions sur les expressions littérales (définition, convention d’écritures, calcul d’expressions littérales, réduction d’expressions littérales ). Probabilités : notion de probabilités, vocabulaire, calcul simple de probabilités, propriété des probabilités, arbre pondéré, notion d’équiprobabilité, probabilité d’événements composés.

Notion d’échelles : plan et réalité, savoir passer d’une échelle à une autre pour un même objet.

Construction de triangles connaissant leurs côtés et leurs angles. Conversion d’un nombre rationnel en nombre décimal en utilisant la division ( division terminée, ou quotient qui se répète éventuellement ou qui ne s’arrête pas).

Résolution de problèmes avec les 4 opérations et les nombres rationnels.

Angles supplémentaires, complémentaires, adjacents : résoudre des problèmes à plusieurs étapes pour trouver une mesure d’angle.

Construction of triangles: triangle geometry
Converting a rational number to a decimal number
4 operations and rational numbers

Students will also study the following areas of mathematics such as solving multistage problems to find an angle measure.
